What is Gallery Wrapping?
Gallery wrapping is the process that the finished canvas print goes through in order to mount and stretch it onto the internal frame. The canvas is gently stretched by one of the few patented StretchMaster machines in the UK on all four sides and wrapped around the edges. Each print is then hand finished with each corner being carefully folded and tucked in to ensure that there are no unsightly edges. Then, the canvas is fixed to the back of the frame all the way round and finished off neatly to hide all of the fixings. This ensures that the final print is as good to look at from the back as it is from the front! Finally, we put stretching wedges into all four corners to ensure the canvas is a tight as possible on the frame.
What Materials Do You Use and Will My Print Last?
We only use the finest quality artists materials for all of our canvas prints and this is complemented by HP Vivera Pigment based colour and lightfast inks, which are guaranteed fade resistant for a minimum of 200 years. This means all of our prints will outlast our customers!
Our photographs are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. This offers at least 150+ years of non fading when framed behind glass.

I Have an Image I Want to Have Printed onto Canvas, Can You Do It For Me?
Of course! The size of print that we can achieve from your image is completely dependent on the size and quality of your original file. For obvious reasons digital files are better but we are also happy to accept conventional photographic prints or flat artwork. Please ensure that you have the copyright or permission from the owner for the image we are reproducing. If you would like this service, please contact us and we can give you all the advice you need.
I Want a Special Size That is Smaller / Bigger Than What You Currently Offer on Your Site?
Not a problem! Simply contact us with what you have in mind and we'll let you know the cost. We can accomodate most sizes within reason and if you want a 'Super Size' multiple print, where multiple canvas prints are used to make one large image for a very large wall or space, we can make this for you too. Why not give this a try, you will be surprised at how cost effective custom sizes can be.
What's So Special About Your Frames? Are They Really That Good?
We use museum quality artists stretcher bars which are made of the finest quality kiln dried fir wood. Fir wood has the advantage of being very light, yet extremely hard wearing and not susceptible to warping like standard pine is prone to do from other suppliers.
Each bar features a rounded back edge which is designed to ensure that the canvas is always kept a full 1/2" above the stretcher bar to ensure that there can be no ghost impressions on the canvas. These stretcher bars also incorporate 'wedges' which are placed in each corner and allow the canvas to be stretched extremely tightly over the frame. It also allows the canvas to be restretched over time, which can be of particular importance on the larger sizes we offer.
Do You Sell Unmounted Or Rolled Prints?
Yes we do, and these can be purchased online in the same way as stretched prints. Buying unmounted or rolled prints to either display unframed or to mount and frame yourself, can be very cost effective. For our international customers, buying prints in an unmounted or rolled form is very useful as you can save substantially on shipping costs.
Once I Get My Print, How Do I Hang It?
We supply hanging kits with all of our prints so putting them up on the wall is as easy as banging in a picture hook. No more messing around with screws and drills! The unique design of the CWH Canvas Hanger included in the kit, incorporates a cut-out which allows the print to be hung on a standard 2 pin picture hook (also supplied). Using these hangers ensures that the finished print is 'pulled' flush to the wall and results in a very secure fixing with minimum fuss.
How Long Will My Order Take?
Orders for canvas prints should take no more than 14 working days from the time you place it online. Artblock orders can take up to 21 days. We always try to deliver orders as quickly as possible but this is dependant on how busy we are and how fast our couriers can deliver!
How Can I Pay For My Order?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. If you would prefer not to enter your card details online, we can take orders and card payments over the telephone on 020 7229 9240.
I've Made a Mistake and I Really Don't Like the Print I've Bought,Can I Exchange It For Another?
